Hosts are understaffed making it impossible to get timely service for patrons. Cashiers close because they don’t have the staff to cover breaks. Little to no communication across departments which makes it incredibly frustrating to provide excellent customer service. Nothing is quality and poor equipment leads to safety hazards, bad ergonomics, injuries and in general makes completing the most basic tasks tedious and frustrating. Slow servers, broken equipment and second rate programs are used every where. If you’re looking for work/life balance you will absolutely not have it here.Įquipment is all refurbished garbage or the cheapest product on the market. Schedules are all over the place which is pretty standard for the industry, but just because it’s industry standard doesn’t mean they can’t do better. So if you’re days off are Tuesday/Wednesday then you can’t book you’re vacation time for Thursday-Monday. If you participate in the formal vacation bid the you can only request Sunday-Saturday. They are ALWAYS understaffed and deny all requests.
The longer you stay with the company, the more PTO you earn, but good luck actually using it. Employee cost goes up, coverage goes down, employer HSA contribution decreases. The benefits are decent at a glance but every year they get worse.
